Loot Crate, known for sending themed monthly boxes of cool (and often exclusive) geeky baubles to its subscribers, has just announced a new line of crates that focuses entirely on video games. This new product, dubbed Loot Gaming, was announced last Friday, January 29th, at PAX South. Alongside the traditional Loot Crate, Loot Anime, Lvl Up+ and Loot Pet, Loot Gaming will ship monthly and contain items from many different video game franchises. Unlike the standard Loot Crate at $20, Loot Gaming will cost $25, but is said to contain several premium and exclusive items which amount to around a $60 value.
I personally don’t have enough space at my house, or patience to sell off or give away all of the items I don’t want, so I don’t subscribe to Loot Crate. Loot Gaming is more geared toward my interests as a geek, but it will be a while before I sign up if I ever end up doing so.
